Shy Girls Announces Album

Portland artist/producer Shy Girls has announced his eagerly awaited debut album ‘Salt’ will be released on 20th Jan via Hit City USA. In conjunction with the news, he has shared a new single ‘Trivial Motion’, which premiered via Complex.

Tom Furse Releases 'Interludes'

Tom Furse; synthesist in The Horrors, has released a solo album of instrumentals named ‘Interludes’ - a record recorded on one synth, in one week.

Using the OP-1, Tom has produced a fun snapshot of his exploration of this piece of technology. The 16-track album was recorded in the order of the final tracklisting, with each piece informing the next.

Check out this visual, soundtracked by ‘Interludes’ in its entirety. ‘Interludes’ is out now digitally via Kaya Kaya Records.

Aristophanes shares new video

Taiwanese artist extraordinaire and Grimes favourite Aristophanes has today shared a brand new video for her single ‘3001: A Space Disco’, which was produced by Will Butler of Arcade Fire.

The video comes in tandem with the news that she’ll be heading to the UK & Europe for some dates this November - catch her headlining Birthdays in London on 17th.

Loyle Carner Unveils New Video

Loyle Carner has unveiled a moving new video for his single ‘The Isle Of Arran’ (Annie Mac’s Hottest Record), taken from his debut album ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ - out 20th Jan on AMF Records.

Directed by Georgia Hudson, the video is a portrait of the struggles surrounding young fatherhood, a subject not often discussed however in light of the growth in men’s mental health, and a topic which needs to be more widely recognised.
